Congratulations to our very own Elite engineer Ben Robertson!
Following the European Box Lacrosse Championship in Hannover which took place over the past month, after a number of challenging games for the Scotland side they made it all the way to the Semi-Finals and placed an outstanding 7th Place. From everyone at Elite we were so happy to support Ben and the team and we couldn’t be prouder of the Scotland team’s achievement and putting Scotland Box Lacrosse on the map.
Certainly not a typical picture of an Elite engineer on their way to a customer site but rather, our very own Ben Robertson in his Box Lacrosse guise!
Ben will be representing Scotland at the upcoming European Championship in Hannover later this month and Elite are proud to be associated and help. All of us at Elite House wish him and all the Scotland team all the very best for the upcoming Tournament.

Last week saw us honour a very important man and colleague as he reached a golden milestone beginning what we are sure will be a long and very happy retirement!
As Elite fast approaches its’ own 30th anniversary year, we all said an emotional and heartfelt farewell to our much-loved Operations Director Brian Sneddon. Brian has been with us for 21 of those 30 years and during his time at Elite, as Account Manager, Sales Operations Manager, General Manager and latterly Operations Director, he has made a huge contribution to our team in so many ways.
We all wish both Brian and, his very understanding wife Margaret, an amazing, long and very healthy retirement.
Wishing you all the compliments of the season from the Elite Control Systems team.

Each winner will receive an Ewon and enclosure as seen in the photo. Installation will have to be completed by an Elite qualified engineer who’s time shall be billed at the cost to the winner (Approx. £500). Additionally, a SIM card with a data plan is required; also supplied by Elite.
Ewon assists our clients to remotely monitor their assets and machines whilst allowing our Engineers to carry out essential work or emergency support when required.
Recently, one of our clients experienced issue with a fault at their plant in Europe Mainland and our Engineers remotely logged into their PLC (with their permission),to help diagnose the issue to get their plant back up and running!
Elite have a produced a bespoke enclosure for the Ewon, allowing clients to manually switch off the device without having to open the enclosure to prevent any unwanted access, while their plant is live or the machine is running.
Ewon has military grade encryption and have the largest footprint in the world with 1000’s of Ewon’s installed across Europe and the Globe.

Following the successful induction of Oscar Robertson we are also delighted to announce Coco Butler has started at Elite. Though she is still to complete her probationary period, all the signs are that we will be able to formalise her appointment soon. She has already shown a strong aptitude and interest for all things health, safety and, fun. Speaking of her arrival, Elite’s Brian Sneddon said that she apperared to be showing great promise and is proving to be very popular appointment with the whole team…. big welcomes to both Coco and Oscar from all of us at Elite House!
